Freshwater is more than a church building—
we are a Spirit-led movement fueled by the knowledge that God is reaching and restoring people every day. When we say, “We are a movement of God to reach and restore one more into a relationship with Jesus,” we are declaring that everything we do is for one more person encounter the hope and healing found in Jesus Christ.

At Freshwater we embrace a calling that is active, compassionate, and always expectant.

Together as a church we bring the hope, promise, and life of Jesus to others. It is so much more than just meeting a tangible need, or offering short-lived encouragement. By sharing God's light with others, we bring His eternal life to those who are lost in darkness. 

At Freshwater, we believe faith should be lived, not just talked about. That’s why we are Real—authentic in who we are, grounded in God’s truth. Here we have built a culture of embracing honesty and grace in every conversation so that people can show up as they truly are.

We are Relevant, connecting the living Word of God to today's world and challenges through our Sunday services, Life Group Study groups, and fruitful conversations with others.

People were created to be in community with God and one another. We remain deeply Relational, because life—and faith—were never meant to be lived alone.

At Freshwater, we are passionate about creating a place where authenticity is welcomed, Scripture comes alive, and relationships point people to Jesus—one person at a time.

Our 3-Branch Ministry Model exists because we know that apart from Jesus, we can do nothing. Discipleship Programs form the branch that nurtures spiritual growth, helping people follow Jesus deeply and intentionally. Hope MVMT becomes the branch that brings restoration to our local community through practical service and compassionate care. Global Impact stretches outward as the branch that carries Christ’s message to the world. United in purpose and rooted in Christ, these branches bear lasting fruit. 

1. Heavenly Father
We worship the Almighty Creator God who is our perfect, holy, and loving Father.

2. Spirit
The Holy Spirit actively leads, sanctifies, and empowers us both individually and corporately.

3. Jesus
God created us for relationship with Him, but sin broke it. Jesus lived perfectly, died in our place, and through faith in Him, gives us His righteousness, restoring us to God. There is no other way to be saved.

4. Bible
 The Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God that saturates everything we do.

5. Worship
When we gather to worship, it is a sacred encounter with the living God that makes us more like Jesus.

6. Prayer 
Prayer is the primary work of God’s people. Through prayer, we are not seeking to move God to our will, but to be moved by His — walking in dependence, surrender, and trust.

7. Lost 
Humanity chases meaning and beauty in God’s creation yet remains lost in the darkness of sin and separated from Him. Through the gospel, we join God’s rescue mission to bring the good news of Jesus to the lost.

8. Healing
In the presence of God there is healing available for all areas of life. Healing isn’t the only thing we strive for in His presence - it’s to enjoy God.

9. Missions 
We actively engage in missions by sending and supporting long-term missionaries. We send short-term teams to encourage the work being done and to ignite passion for the Lord in those who are sent.

10. Hope
We tangibly demonstrate the love of Jesus because new life in Him offers hope to a hurting world.

11. Restoration
We all need to live out our faith through practical next steps, participation in the church family, and ongoing spiritual practices for the restoration of our souls.

12. Reaching the Next Generation
We want Freshwater to be a thriving church when Jesus returns - whether that is this year or in 100 years. We pour into the upcoming generation who are the next leaders of the Church.
