Provision // Finding Jesus in the Storm

So what's the answer when you're following God's will and it gets difficult? When you're doing what Jesus told you to do and you're still facing the storm?

The options seem limited: row harder, give up, get out and try to walk, turn the boat around.

But here's the lesson we often miss: This isn't about doing more. It's about being with Jesus.

When Jesus got into the boat with the disciples, they worshiped Him. They declared, "Truly you are the Son of God." And when they worshiped—when they focused on who Jesus was rather than what they needed to do—the wind died down and they reached the shore.

The presence of God is the safest place to be. Not because there won't be storms, but because He is with us in them.
